Bankruptcy may eliminate or restructure certain debts while under the protection of the federal bankruptcy court but it will have a negative impact on your credit rating.
Debt consolidation is a debt solution that combines multiple debts into one. Instead of monitoring multiple accounts, you only have to think about one monthly payment.
Debt restructuring is all about negotiating better terms. The goal is to restructure your debt in order to make it easier for you to completely pay off your debts.
Caceres & Shamash LLP's focus is primarily in representing debtors, creditors, trustees, and other parties in interest in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, bankruptcy-related matters, out-of-court debt workouts and restructuring.
